So you've gained some valuable insights about how to use your Nokia E65 from this site. Now, its time you helped us solve a mystery... does the new PC suite really work?
I have not upgraded my E65 to the latest firmware but have been using the latest PC suite. Both on Vista and XP, with different bluetooth dongles, I can no longer send SMS properly with PC suite so I thought maybe it would be interesting for all of you to share your most recent experiences with PC suite. Also, none of the three computers which I have PC suite installed on different operating systems and dongles allows me to sync my images now either. Is it a bug or the lack of firmware upgrade or both?
Make sure you specify which firmware you are using, which operating system (XP, Vista, Mac) and which version of PC suite you are operating with.

I care about the phone not showing the Contact's name but the number instead when sending an SMS via Nokia Communication Center.
Mine is a question - My wife and I bought 2 Nokia E65s last year. Both of our phones seeem to after some time "forget" some contacts in the contacs book so that their calls and messages no longer come in showing their names, but just ther numbers. How can we fix this?

You probably have two entries (or more) in your address book with the same number. When this happens, the phone doesnt know which "Name" to display and decides to display the number only. Check your address book that you have not entered the person's number twice.
ReplyDeleteemyeye65, thanks for your suggestion. I have checked both phones and even deleted the entries totally then re-entered them. Still no joy. Also there's one more contact that my phone is no longer recognising. Very strange behaviour.
