Apparently... the serial number on your mobile phone (also known as the IMEI number) can tell you where your nokia phone was assembled. The Nokia E65 has had rave reviews and rotten reviews and part of the reason is possibly because of the quality of phone based on the batch in which it was produced. Here's the theory, let us know where your E65 falls and whether you have been happy with its performance (ie no cracked screen, continuous crashes, etc).
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 0 , 2 or 2 , 0 this means your cell phone was assembled in Emirates which is very Bad quality
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 0 , 8 or 8 , 0 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Germany which is fair quality
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 0 , 1 or 1 , 0 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Finland which is very Good
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 0 , 0 this means your cell phone was manufactured in original factory which is the best Mobile Quality
- IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 1 , 3 this means your cell phone was assembled in Azerbaijan which is very Bad quality and also dangerous for your health
Finland for me as well. I've been very happy with it.
ReplyDelete01 so assumed Finnish assembly.
ReplyDelete01 - Finnish assembly?
ReplyDeleteMy phone did crash quite frequently, but after I updated the firmware everything has worked fine for the past few months.
01 here... phone was very slow in opening and closing app. I did the soft upgrade... now everything works lots faster
ReplyDelete01 :) Finland
ReplyDeleteFinland as well. I'm happy... Except for the crack on the screen :(
ReplyDelete01 Finland :D, i want to ask you if this theory is applicable to other nokia phones?
ReplyDeleteMy E71-2 (NAM) IMEI is 2,0. Yet the phone is MADE IN FINLAND. The quality is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteFinland - but my E65 backlight on the numeric keypad hasn't worked for some time and my phone sometimes crashes when I unplug it from my charger, so I'm not sure if I agree with the theory!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so great by the way. Full of useful information and browsing through it has made me like my phone again - despite the light and crashes.
Take care and have a great year.
